  6. Prepare 5 Banana leaf Pieces
Instructions to make Steamed Rice Pancakes:
  1. To begin making Steamed Rice Pancakes, first keep a pan on the gas stove and bring water to boil.
  2. In a bowl take rice powder and gradually add in boiling Water. Mix using a wooden spatula or a spoon. Once the mixture cools down a bit, knead with your hands to make a soft dough and keep aside.
  3. Next take another bowl, combine grated coconut, grated Jaggery and cardamom powder with your hands till well combined. Keep aside.
  4. Take a piece of Banana leaf and place a lemon size dough in the centre of the leaf.
  5. Flatten the rice dough with wet fingers to get a nice and even flattened dough. Fill the rice dough with a teaspoon of coconut Jaggery mixture on one side of the flattened dough and fold from the other side and press lightly.
  6. Place the pancakes in a steamer or idli cooker and steam it for 10 minutes on high heat. After 10 minutes check the pancakes and turn off the heat.
  7. Once done, serve warm.
  8. Ready to serve and ENJOY!
