  5. Add salt and keep it aside for 15-20 minutes
  6. Heat the appam chatti (Appam pan). It will take around 3 minutes.
  7. Pour a ladleful of batter and swirl the pan. It should be slightly thick in the centre, thin and lacy over the sides.
  8. Cover and cook
  9. Centre should be cooked and the sides should be slightly brown
  10. Remove it with the help of a spatula.
  11. Ready to serve and ENJOY!
